TRI DIM RESTAURANT
When Joe Ginsberg and his team tackle a new restaurant design, there are two things he initially considers when starting to design a restaurant. The first is the story behind the design, a strong narrative that is carried through the details of the design without feeling contrived. The second element is operations. A restaurant needs to work properly from a functionality point of view to be a success. All the elements need to work hand in hand from circulation spaces, to seating areas to the bar. Joe Ginsberg developed custom wall panels inspired by oriental architecture. The glass pendants that are abundant throughout the space give a warm light and are reminiscent of Chinese lanterns hand-blown in a contemporary way. The art on the walls portrays the four seasons and the backing of the bar id inspired by traditional Chinese landscape art with an abstract contemporary twist. All the architectural fabrications in this restaurant design are done by Joe Ginsberg’s fabrication studio, Master Architectural Fabrication.
